Need a breakfast for your little that comes together fast – add this french toast waffle to your morning rotation!

The whole family loved these! I def need to get a bigger waffle iron to make these in a bigger batch. Huge hit!
Serves: 2 | Total time: 5ish minutes
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Splash vanilla
- 1 slice of bread, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
- In a small bowl, whisk egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Add bread cubes and stir until coated. The bread should absorb most of the liquid.
- Place 1/2 of the mixture into waffle iron and gently spread.
- Close and cook 3–4 minutes, until golden and set. You might need to press down a little.
- Remove, then cook your 2nd waffle.
- Let cool and enjoy!
This is the mini waffle iron we use! I love how quickly it heats up. You may have seen my ghost version in the video, unfortunately that one is only sold around Halloween. This waffle iron is the same brand and has removable holiday plates!
Enjoy! And find more of my recipes here.
