Need a fast weeknight meal? Definitely add this delicious pizza baked tortellini to the menu!

I’ve tried to do the whole no-boil pasta bake thing and it rarely works out for me. However, I’ve found what does work is using refrigerated pasta! This dish takes 5 mins to prep, then you have a pizza inspired pasta dish even picky toddlers will like!
Serves: 4-6 | Prep time: 5 min | Cook time: 25-30 mins
Ingredients
- 20 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1½ cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup mini pepperoni
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, cooked sausage, olives, or mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Add the tortellini to a baking dish. Pour in the marinara sauce, 1/2 cup water, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder, then stir to coat the tortellini evenly.
- Cover the dish tightly with a lid or foil and bake for 20 minutes, until the tortellini are hot and the sauce is bubbling.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle the mozzarella, parmesan, and mini pepperoni over the top. Bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Feel free to broil for a crispy top!
- Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
This is my beautiful baking dish that cooks and washes like a dream! Of course, any 9×13 or so baking dish will work just fine here as well.
Enjoy! And find more of my recipes here.
