I have been diving fully into baby led weaning with my son, and quickly whipped up these zucchini turkey meatballs which were a hit! Sharing the recipe for any other mamas out there looking for an easy recipe to throw together that baby will love.

My son has quickly ramped up to wanting 3 meals a day, so having foods prepped in advance for him is absolutely crucial! These zucchini turkey meatballs took 5 minutes to prep and then I just threw them in the oven and now we have easy protein ready to go for when it’s meal time.
It requires only a few ingredients and it salt-free, veggie and protein packed, as well as iron packed. Very nutritious for your little ones!
This post is all about my easy zucchini turkey meatballs recipe for babies.
The first time I made these I didn’t squeeze out the excess moisture or add the oats, resulting in very wet meatballs. They still got eaten, but they completely fell apart in my sons hands. These hold together much better so they are easier for my son to eat.
I freeze these and then reheat 2 at a time for around a minute for a quick protein. They are a hit!
We did ground turkey, but I’m sure any ground meat would easily substitute in.
