I found out I was pregnant super early, so I was able to notice my 3 weeks pregnant symptoms as they were happening. Sharing everything I experienced during my third week of pregnancy below!

3 weeks pregnant symptom

I was fortunate enough to find out I was pregnant at 8dpo, and my symptoms came on super strong, so right away I was noting my 3 weeks pregnant symptoms. The fun and the not so fun. And by fun I mostly mean tolerable lol. None are really all that fun, but that’s okay.

This post is all about my 3 weeks pregnant symptoms.

Some people might not even know when they’re 3 weeks pregnant because it’s pretty early on. If you’re like me and tested the moment you could, then you’ll likely know.

My pregnancy symptoms kicked in literally right after my positive pregnancy test. I felt like during my third week of pregnancy it was kind of like an overture that you hear at a broadway show that previews all the songs to come. By that I mean I got a wide range of symptoms!

A lot of them came and went, which did make me nervous at the time. Please know that pregnancy symptoms can do that! Doesn’t mean anything bad, just fluctuating hormones doing their thing. Never hurts to call your doctor though just in case or to get peace of mind.

Nausea

This started moments after my first pregnancy test, isn’t that crazy? It wasn’t too bad, but I absolutely noticed it.

During week three it came and went. There didn’t seem to be anything that would specifically trigger it or make it go away, although I thought cold water did help some.

I ended up dealing with pretty bad nausea for half of my pregnancy. No throwing up, just persistent nausea. It’s rough. If you’re dealing with that too, I put together a list of foods that fight nausea during pregnancy that worked for me as well as plenty of other ladies that left their ideas in the comments of my TikTok.

No appetite or hunger

I noticed this one pretty soon as well. Hunger and appetite were totally gone!

Thirst

I was SO thirsty right away, and stayed thirsty, throughout my pregnancy. I never was without my trusty Hydro Flask. Keeps water ICE cold which was a must for me (and my nausea!) Plus, keeping properly hydrated is good for you and baby.

Increased urination

I was drinking a ton more water, so it could have been that, but everything just felt different and it seemed like this would have been happening either way.

More out of breath

This wasn’t major, I noticed it here and there on occasion.

Hotter at night

Our house was getting cooler at night from it becoming fall, but somehow I was hotter. Definitely hormones at play!

Cramping

Another one that came and went. I noticed it early in the week, but it faded by the end of the week. They were minor! They made me nervous, but cramping is totally normal.

If it’s accompanied by bright red blood though, please call your doctor to double check things.

Pregnancy brain

Another one that hit me right away. All the sudden my brain was not connecting the dots like it used to!

Plenty of other symptoms can come up as well! Some others from the comments: moody, headaches, vivid dreams, increased hunger, tired, sweats, and tender breasts. There can be others as well! Hormones can do some wild things.

You also can experience NO symptoms whatsoever! All normal.

Wishing you a healthy and easy pregnancy. I hope me sharing my 3 weeks pregnant symptoms helped calm a bit of your anxieties and let you know you’re not alone!
