You and your little one will absolutely adore doing these spring baby crafts. SO many cute little handprint and footprint craft to do together!
Let’s dive into all things bright and colorful with these seriously cute spring baby crafts! Handprint flowers, footprint bunnies, and everything in between. We will minimize the mess, but still include just enough for baby to have a total blast.
Doesn’t matter if you’re new to crafting (hi, it’s me) or a crafting pro, you will love doing these with your little bunny. Grab the (washable!!) paint, some paper, and let’s get to it.
PS – these make for awesome gifts. Looking at you Mother’s Day!! Grandma will simply adore them.
This post is all about spring baby crafts.
1. Handprint Poppy Flowers
Materials list:
- White card stock
- Paint (green, black, flower color of choice)
- Paintbrush
- Black marker
How cute! Great way to display lots of little handprints. You can make so many variations of poppies with lots of different colors.
2. Handprint Grasshopper
Materials list:
- Printed grasshopper template (on their website)
- Green kids paint
- Paintbrush
- Markers (optional)
Spring means the bugs come out to play! While I don’t love that, I do love this grasshopper handprint art!
3. Tin Can Ladybug Plant Pot
Materials list:
- Empty tin can (washed and clean)
- Small plants
- Potting soil
- Acrylic paint or spray paint (red and black)
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Googly eyes
- White cardstock
- Pipe cleaners
- Pom poms – small
A little more involved for mom, but an absolutely adorable final product that beautifully displays baby’s little hands. Would be a wonderful gift for grandma!
4. Ladybug and bumblebee
Materials list:
- White cardstock
- Paint (yellow and red)
- Black marker
- Googly eyes (self adhesive)
- Paintbrush
More cutie little bugs to display! Get baby’s feet all painted up for a bumblebee and ladybug.
5. Footprint Tulips
Materials list:
- White card stock
- Paint (green and flower color of choice)
- Marker
- Paintbrush
I think this one would be perfect to use as decor in the house! Choose your favorite color for the flower.

6. Footprint Ducklings
Materials list:
- Light blue construction paper
- Paint (yellow, orange, green, and blue paint)
- Paintbrush
The cutest of the bunch?! Possibly! These little ducklings are perfectly springy and cute.
7. Toe Print Caterpillar
Materials list:
- Paint (red and green)
- Paintbrush
- White card stock
- Black marker
Loooove this one! If you and your baby are a fan of the hungry little caterpillar this is a must!
8. Spring Kite
Materials list:
- Paint (colors of choice)
- Paintbrush
- White card stock
- Black marker
This doesn’t have directions, but it self explanatory! A handprint for the kite and fingerprints for the little decorations down the string of the kite.
9. Butterfly and Flower

- Paint (green + flower color of choice)

- Black marker
This one also doesn’t have a blog post with it, but it’s easy to figure out how to do from the picture.
