This super simple Jack o Lantern handprint craft turned out absolutely adorable!!

I’m trying to get more into arts and crafts projects with my son, now that he enjoys them and understands them more. They have been SO fun! So so cute. Love that we’ll have these little keepsakes to look back on for years to come.
Trust me when I say they’re easy, because I am not naturally an artistic or craft person. If I can do it, so can you!

MATERIALS NEEDED
- Non-toxic washable paint (I used orange)
- Cardstock paper (best for crafting with paint since it’s thicker!)
- Markers (I used orange, black, brown, and green)
- Foam brush
INSTRUCTIONS
- First, get that baby in a long sleeve bib! I found it easiest to do this while he was in his highchair so I could use the tray to press his hand on.
- Grab your orange paint and paint your baby’s hand using the foam brush
- Stamp their hand onto the paper (it might take a few tries to get the hang of how to stamp them best, so have some spare paper nearby if you need it!)
- Let the paper dry for a few hours, or overnight
- Grab your markers and draw little stem (brown), leaves (green), and the Jack o Lantern face (black). I googled Jack o Lantern face and had it in front of me to make sure I did it right.
- Add the date and “Happy Halloween” if you want!
- Display and let you and your baby see the beautiful creation you made!!
Let me know if you give it a try, and how it turns out!!
