This pizza waffle is the perfect yummy, quick, and easy toddler lunch on those busy days!

This was a HUGE hit with my son! High protein, filling, and quick to make on those afternoons where you need a meal ready fast.
Serves: 2 | Total time: 5ish minutes
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon flour or oat flour
- 1 tablespoon marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon mini pepperoni
- Pinch Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat a waffle iron and lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, mix the egg, mozzarella, flour, marinara, mini pepperoni, and Italian seasoning until combined.
- Spoon the mixture into the waffle iron and spread slightly so it cooks evenly.
- Close the waffle iron and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until the waffle is set and golden and slightly crispy on the outside.
- Let cool slightly, then cut into strips or serve whole depending on your little one.
This is the mini waffle iron we use! I love how quickly it heats up.
