Here is the number one baby product you seriously need to avoid adding to your registry!

There are a million and one baby registry recommendation lists out there, and plenty more with tips of what to avoid and mistakes you could make. It can be overwhelming to take it all in! That’s why we’re breaking down the number one baby product you need to not be adding to your registry. As an ex nanny and new mom, trust me on this!
This post is all about the baby registry mistake you need to avoid.
Clothing with snaps. Take them off the registry right now!
Onesies, pjs, bodysuits, I get confused with the proper name for all the pieces of clothing. But if they have a ton of snaps, take them off immediately if not sooner.
Snaps are normal for clothing around the crotch area, that’s all fine. I’m talking about when it’s snaps all down the front. No big deal for when it’s time to take them off, however putting them back on is SUCH a pain!
Wiggly newborns you have to wrestle to get each and every snap while they’re fussing or crying? No thank you. Or worse, mobile babies who you have to keep in one place as you line up and snap together up their strong bodies. It’s a hassle and a half and there’s no need to put yourself through it.
Middle of the night changes made all the more complicated with snaps, and when you’re sleep deprived with one eye open, you want things to be as easy as possible.
Go for zippers or magnets! Make your life nice and simple. Plenty of zippers have the feature of being two way, so you can easily unzip upwards for diaper changes. I haven’t tried magnets, but I imagine they’d be quite a bit easier than snaps as well.
We really like Old Navy and Target for our clothing.
Go edit your registry, or make a mental note of this, and thank me later.
