This chicken parm waffle is the perfect easy lunch when you need something fast and high protein!

As you know, we looooove a quick and easy recipe around here. My waffle iron is probably one of my most used appliances cause it’s just so easy to whip up a quick batter for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and make a waffle or two. This one turned out really good. High protein, and crispy from the cheese. Feel free to use rotisserie chicken, canned chicken, or whatever cooked chicken you have on hand!

Chicken Parm Waffle
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup cooked shredded chicken
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp flour
- pinch pinch garlic powder optional
- pinch Italian seasoning optional
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
- In a bowl, mix chicken, egg, mozzarella, parmesan, marinara, flour, and seasoning until combined.
- Spoon 1/2 mixture into waffle iron and spread slightly.
- Cook 3–4 minutes, until set and lightly crispy. Remove and cook the 2nd waffle.
- Let cool slightly before cutting or serving.
