Yep, you read that right. We’re talking about gestational diabetes fast food option! GD doesn’t mean you can’t rely on those quick and convenient meals from time to time!

We all know you shouldn’t have fast food all the time, but sometimes you just gotta. It might be a craving, it might be what’s easiest, it might be something else. No judgement here!
We are rounding up gestational diabetes fast food ideas for when that’s your best option. These are meals that other women with GD have eaten and been safe with. You, of course, might react differently, but it could be a good place to start if you’re looking to find some safe (and quick!) options while out and about, for delivery, etc.

Common fast food chains can be a great option because their nutritional information (aka carb amounts) are easily available online! Just do a quick search for “restaurant + nutritional information” and it should pop up!
Subway
1. Wrap or a 6inch on wheat with double protein
2. Rotisserie chicken wrap with bacon, cheese, and sauce
3. 6 inch tuna on wheat bread with all the veggies
4. Chicken, bacon, and pepperoni on 6 inch white
