I’ve been thinking about easy recipes I can freeze for my toddler for once baby is here and these turned out absolutely perfect. Packed with flavor, so easy to make, and freezer friendly. Feel free to customize based on how you like your pizza! Cooked crumbled sausage would be super yummy here.

Pizza Sticks

A fun handheld lunch your toddler will be obsessed!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella plus a little more for topping
  • 1/3 cup mini pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, milk, and pizza sauce.
  • Stir in the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt until just combined.
  • Fold in the mozzarella, mini pepperoni, and spinach.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and sprinkle with a little extra cheese, if desired.
  • Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until the center is set and springs back when lightly touched.
  • Let cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing into sticks.
