If you need ideas for toddler lunch ideas, I have you covered with a handful of easy and toddler approved meals I’ve served my son! Feel free to mix and match here too! Some are low prep, some require a bit more, so you are bound to find something that works for both your child and yourself! Enjoy 🙂
1. Avocado, tomato, strawberries, and shredded chicken mashed with avocado
2. Blueberries, cheese, shredded chicken, and roasted potato spears
I made the roasted potato spears by slicing up a russet potato into fry shape then baking at 400 for 30-ish minutes until fork tender. I seasoned with salt and pepper and tossed with avocado oil.
3. Pesto tortellini (both from Costco), banana, and cucumber
4. Peaches, red bell pepper strips, and veggie chicken nuggets
My son loves these veggie chicken nuggets, especially dipped in his fave Primal Kitchen unsweetened ketchup. Easy way to get veggies + protein in and they freeze great! I reheat from frozen by air frying for 10 mins at 400.
5. Raspberries, frozen seasoned green beans, and protein pasta with seasoning + cottage cheese
Here I used the Barilla protein pasta and Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute.
6. Banana, yogurt mixed with unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon, and zucchini turkey meatballs
Here is the recipe for the zucchini turkey meatballs.
7. Black bean and cheese quesadillas, roasted zucchini spears, and raspberries
For the quesadilla I sprayed a hot skillet with oil then added my corn tortilla. I added a some smashed black beans and cheese and another tortilla on top which I sprayed. I let one side cook for a few mins then flipped to cook on the other side.
For the zucchini spears I cut, tossed in oil and seasoning, and roasted at 400 for 15-20 until fork tender.
8. Strawberries, cucumbers, and pizza roll up
I made the pizza roll up by taking a tortilla and spreading tomato sauce, sprinkling mozzarella + Italian seasoning, and putting a few turkey pepperoni. Then I rolled, sliced, and air fried for a few minutes until warm!
9. Grilled cheese, roasted potato, and strawberries
Grilled cheese is whole grain bread with butter on the outside to grill it up and get it crispy, and with cheddar cheese inside! I made the roasted potato spears by slicing up a russet potato into fry shape then baking at 400 for 30-ish minutes until fork tender. I seasoned with salt and pepper and tossed with avocado oil.
10. Sweet potato croutons, grapes, and a veggie scramble
The veggies were a bag of frozen seasoned veggies I got from Costco (brand: PuraVida) that I cooked up and then added 2 scrambled eggs into. The sweet potato croutons are by the brand Roots. Love them!
11. Grapes, veggies, protein pasta with butter + parm
Protein pasta is Barilla and veggies are from Costco by the brand PuraVida.
12. Plums, kiwi, and veggie mac n cheese.
The veggie mac n cheese was frozen from Target, it’s in their kid line.
13. Plums, sausages, and oat cookie
A little breakfast for lunch! The chicken sausages are from Costco, by the brand Jones Dairy farm. We looove these! The cookies are no sugar added and with oats + whole wheat flour! So so yummy!
14. Grapes, cucumbers, and salmon and white bean cakes
The salmon and white bean cakes are super easy to make! Freeze + reheat great too.
15. Raspberries, a cheesestick, and naan dipped in tzatziki
16. Watermelon, cucumbers mixed with tzatziki, and naan with melted cheddar on top
Just threw the naan in our little toaster oven with cheddar on top.
17. Cucumbers, kiwi, and naan pizza
To make the naan pizzas I spread some sauce, Italian seasoning, and mozzarella and cooked in our toasted oven until melted.
18. Avocado, sautéed yellow squash, and sautéed chickpeas
For both the yellow squash and the chickpeas I just sautéed with a little avocado oil and used seasoning.
19. Scrambled eggs with cheddar, rice mixed with hummus, and steamed broccoli and carrots
I hope these lunches give you plenty of inspiration on what to feed your little one! If you have a go-to lunch, please leave it below!
