two week wait symptoms day by day

I knew that I had to share my two week wait symptoms day by day after I finally got my positive pregnancy test because it was what I searched for constantly while waiting to test! It was helpful to read other women’s experiences, even if it turned out to not be a bfp, because it’s nice to know you’re not alone. I hope this post can make you feel the same!

This post is all about my two week wait symptoms day by day.

I *know* that before the baby implants you can’t experience any symptoms. I know, I know. But I also feel like we know our bodies best.

I noticed differences within my body during my two week wait from 2 dpo on. If you look it up, everywhere will tell you it meant nothing at all, and I was just symptom spotting. However these were things outside of the normal things I experienced following ovulation and leading up to my period.

Perhaps it was a total coincidence that things were different for me. I don’t personally think so, but you can do with that what you want!

1 DPO Symptoms

No surprise here, but zero symptoms this day outside of some serious lack of patience.

2 DPO Symptoms

This is when I started to feel like things were different within my body. On 2 dpo, I started to have cramps. I never got those previously following ovulation, so this really threw me.

3 DPO Symptoms

The cramping subsided today, so I was thinking that the cramps I did experience the day before meant nothing at all.

The evening of 3dpo I did have heartburn, which was another unusual symptom for me. And it was over the blandest food. I never got heartburn, so this was strange.

4 DPO Symptoms

On 4 dpo I still had some remaining heartburn, which was still super strange and out of the ordinary for me. Mostly though I was feeling super emotional and like I was going crazy analyzing all of these symptoms!

5 DPO Symptoms

This is the day where things got particularly interesting, which I only know now looking back.

That night I started to get some lower back pain on one side and some cramping also just on the one side. Now I know those were my implantation symptoms! They were both so mild, if I had been busier I probably wouldn’t have even noticed anything at all. But of course I was on hyper alert, so I did.

Both were super mild, but enough to notice them.

6 DPO Symptoms

Cramps continued this day! Still very mild, but enough to feel them going on.

I also noticed that it seemed like my veins were much more prominent than normal. I wasn’t totally sure, since who even knows what their veins look like normally lol. But I swore they were more noticeable. I noticed this on my upper thighs and lower stomach, like they were pointing straight to my uterus.

7 DPO Symptoms

By 7 dpo my cramping was totally gone, but the veins seemed even more prominent than the day before! Still on my upper thighs and lower stomach and also on my chest!

I thought either I was totally going crazy and imagining all of these things happening to my body, or I was pregnant.

8 DPO Symptoms

Then comes 8 dpo, where I took my very first pregnancy test and got my first positive!

I was still veiny, and this is the day my nausea started to kick in.

9 DPO Symptoms – 14 DPO Symptoms

On these days I mostly just experienced on and off nausea.

I hope reading my two week wait symptoms day by day helps you understand your symptoms and lets you know your not alone in analyzing everything your body is doing. Of course experiencing exactly these symptoms could not result in a pregnancy test, but I hope that it does if that’s what you’re hoping for!
