Curious what a positive 9 DPO pregnancy test looks like? Sharing how mine looked on just about every brand of pregnancy tests below!

9 DPO Pregnancy test

Searching online for what a possible 9 dpo pregnancy test might look like? I’ve got you covered!

When we were TTC (or trying to conceive if you aren’t familiar with all the acronyms), searching things online kept me sane. Whether it was every possible symptom during my TWW (two week wait) that came up or positive pregnancy tests on different brands, I spent a TON of time searching it all trying to piece together if that was going to happen for me.

That’s why this post is all about my positive 9 dpo pregnancy test!

I was super super lucky to get a very early positive pregnancy test on 8 dpo, although it was faint, so I wasn’t totally convinced. I was pretty sure! But on 8 dpo I kept it to myself, while obsessively checking the picture I took of the test, but since it wasn’t a blaring positive, I didn’t want to share it with anyone yet.

8 dpo was just about pure torture waiting until the next morning to take more tests. I woke up 9 dpo and peed on just about every brand of pregnancy tests lol, I had stocked up way prior to even starting TTC. Obsessed? Excited? Both?

9 dpo I woke up, peed in a cup, and GOT TO TESTING.

I used a Wondfo, Easy at Home, Clear Blue, First Response, Bird & Be (this is the one I got my positive on the day before!!), and Clear Blue Digital.

There was definitely a part of me that felt like I wasn’t going to fully believe it without a digital pregnancy test with the words “PREGNANT” staring back at me. I took all the tests and waited the longest three minutes of my life!

Well worth the wait because each and every test was a BIG FAT POSITIVE, including the digital. I was in SHOCK!

I feel so lucky to have gotten those positives before my missed period and so early on. And now my baby boy is here and almost three months old.

My 9DPO symptoms ending in bfp:

Up until then I had been experiencing a handful of symptoms. Read those in detail here: 2 dpo symptoms, 4 dpo symptoms, 6 dpo symptoms, and 7 dpo symptoms.

I’ll give a quick summary though if you don’t wanna read through! These are symptoms I experienced that were completely abnormal for me during the week or two leading up to my period.

2 dpo symptoms: on and off cramps

4 dpo symptoms: feeling emotional, heartburn (not something I typically get)

6 dpo symptoms: Cramping on the right side plus more noticeable veins going up my legs and down my stomach

7 dpo symptoms: Even veinier than the day before. Veins going up my thighs, down my stomach, and all along my chest

8 dpo symptoms: still veiny, on and off nausea

9 dpo symptoms: still veiny, on and off nausea

There you have it! That’s my 9 dpo pregnancy test experience, as well as all of the symptoms I had leading up to my amazing big fat positive. My sweet baby boy is waking up from his last nap of the day, time to go grab him!

This post is all about my 9 dpo pregnancy test experience!
