Ensuring your little one is eating plenty of veggies while on their baby led weaning journey can be a challenge sometimes. Luckily these recipes are veggie loaded, easy to make, and most of all, baby approved! My son has tasted and enjoyed each and everyone, so I know you’re going to find at least one winner in here, but hopefully a few!

My son is hit or miss when it comes to veggies. He used to love steamed broccoli, but that unfortunately was a short lived phase. I’m always testing and trying new recipes to ensure he’s getting veggies in a way he will enjoy. We have some pastas, some fritters, some proteins, and more. Enjoy!
This post is all about easy baby led weaning veggie recipes!
1. Carrot Pasta Sauce

This one is super simple because it’s made with canned carrots! No peeling or steaming required. You blend them up with a few other ingredients and are left with a delicious and veggie filled pasta dish for your little one. Me and my husband like it too! This one also freezes well, I have a few cubes of it left in my freezer for quick meals when we need them.
2. Zucchini Tots

One of my go-to ways for getting in veggies? Turn them into tots (and dip them in ketchup!) Adds a new texture to them, easy for them to hold, and you can season whichever way baby likes. Super easy!
3. Parmesan Pea Fritters

Another quick one using canned veggies – this time peas! Mash them up with some egg, breadcrumbs, seasoning, and cheese then fry them up. Crispy, cheesy, and yummy!
4. Veggie Chicken Nuggets

This one is probably by biggest win of the batch 😂 My son is particular when it comes to protein, so the fact that I found a chicken nugget packed with vegetables that he will reliably eat?! Wow that’s a win. Now he will only eat it with ketchup, but hey it’s unsweetened so I’m not too concerned about it. These freeze great too!
5. Simple Cinnamon Carrot Fries

These are super simple, but one of my more popular recipes for a reason. Quick to make and baby’s love them! Carrots and cinnamon go really well together, so I’m sure your little one will love them too.
6. Banana Zucchini Pancake Bars

If your baby is really a fan of sweeter flavors, then you must make these pancake bars. These were an experiment gone right since I mostly just didn’t feel like standing by the stove making pancakes, so I baked them instead. Turned out SO GOOD! I love these.
7. Broccoli Cheddar Meatballs

Another popular one! Broccoli and cheddar are a solid flavor combo, and they work really well in this meatball recipe. I’ve gotten tons of messages that baby’s love this one!
8. Carrot Tots

More veggie tots! TBH, I feel like a lot of veggies can be turned into tots, so I will keep on making them and testing them since they are usually winners for my son.
9. Savory Carrot Muffins

These savory muffins might sound a little weird, but trust me they are GOOD! Highly recommend giving these try.
I hope these recipes gave you some inspiration for veggie filled recipes to try with your little one. Let me know if you give any a try and what your baby thinks!
