You know we are all about the quick and easy toddler lunches, and these bbq chicken pinwheels were an instant hit!

I love making pinwheels for lunch meal preps cause they take 5ish minutes to prep, you bake em, and then you have lunches ready all week long. So easy to customize too! And typically, toddler approved (husband too 😉 ).

BBQ Chicken Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough the sheet
- 1/2-3/4 cup finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 3/4 cup shredded cheese mozzarella or cheddar
- Extra sprinkle of cheese for tops
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet
- Roll out dough sheet (pinch seams if it’s the actual crescent rolls)
- Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce, leaving a border of about an inch with no sauce or any other toppings
- Sprinkle chicken evenly, then shredded cheese
- Roll tightly into a log
- Slice into ~1 inch pieces
- Place on baking sheet
- Sprinkle a little cheddar on top of each
- Bake 15 minutes, until golden
