This peach snack cake recipe is seriously SO so delicious and a guaranteed hit with your toddler.

toddler recipe Peach Snack Cake

This is my first recipe I developed specifically for toddlers, since it does included a little bit of added sweetener, in this case honey. That said, I think it would still be perfectly delicious and sweet if you omitted it! I love love loveeee how this one turned out. Surprise hit and probably my husband’s favorite. My son gobbled it right up too! Couldn’t be easier to make and a great summer dessert for littles and adults alike!

BABY LED WEANING

This recipe contains honey, which is not safe for under 1 year olds. If you want to make for an under 1 year old simply omit the honey!

For information on how to safely serve foods to babies depending on their age (plus so much more), I recommend Solid Starts. The app is free and has tons of information!

ALLERGENS

This recipe contains egg and dairy (yogurt).

STORAGE

I stored this on the counter for a few days, and can’t say how it froze because we all ate it up! 😂 I imagine it would freeze just fine.

TOOLS USED/RECOMMENDED

8×8 pan – I have this one (and a TON of bakeware from this brand. So high quality!!)

Parchment paper – I buy precut online because I find dealing with a roll of parchment to be the most annoying thing and it’s just so much easier to have it cut for you! Comes in a variety of sizes. Pro tip – crumple up before lining your pan and it will stay in there much better.

Mini Food Chopper – I have been using this a TON when making food for my son. So easy, the charge lasts for a while, and I love being cordless. Plus, it washes up in the dishwasher. Love it! A blender or bigger food processor would work here just as well. I tried to just use a masher and it didn’t work.
