If you’re curious what a positive 10 DPO pregnancy test looks like, sharing mine below and how it loads in real time!

I took a ton of pregnancy tests, and a 10 DPO pregnancy test was one of them! I was fortunate enough to get my first positive on 8 DPO, but I continued to test in order to see the line get darker and see how the pregnancy hormone hCG was progressing in my system. If you’d like to see a 10 DPO pregnancy test load in real time, plus symptoms and more, keep reading!
This post is all about a positive 10 DPO pregnancy test.
By the time I took my 10 DPO pregnancy test, the lines were very clearly there. I took my very first test on 8 DPO, not expecting a positive since it was still so early on, but could see a faint, but clear second line. I was in complete shock!
Leading up to my big fat positive, I experienced a few signs of implantation that I didn’t necessarily realize it at the time, but were clearly telling me that there was a teeny baby in there!
To be honest, I felt like I noticed changes in my body pretty immediately, as in starting on 2 dpo. I know, I know. You can’t experience pregnancy symptoms that early on. I know! But I swear, I could tell something different was going on within my body. Everything I experienced during my two week wait was completely different than what I had ever experienced before in the week+ leading to my period. It was so strange.
Maybe I was just symptom spotting, maybe those symptoms were always there but I hadn’t noticed them before because I wasn’t paying close attention like I was during my tww. MAYBE, it was something different going on in my body because I did get a positive pregnancy test. I’ll never know for sure!
If trying for a baby taught me anything, it’s that you know your body best. I *knew* something different was going on, and there really was!
Anyways…
I continued to notice different things going on up until I got my first positive pregnancy test. I had unusual heartburn around 4 dpo, and then the evening of 5 dpo I had back pain on one side along with cramping that lasted all of 6 dpo (implantation cramping!!)
On 6 dpo and 7 dpo I also noticed my veins becoming more prominent. That wasn’t something I had ever heard of! I noticed them on my upper thighs and lower stomach, basically pointing to my uterus. Also on my chest, which are still there now a year later (probably because of breastfeeding? or maybe they will just always be there from now on.)
Going to bed 7 dpo I was sure either I was completely going crazy, or I was pregnant. Low and behold, a faint line appeared in the very early morning of 8 dpo!
I kept it to myself for the day because I did not believe it whatsoever. I waited until 9 dpo, where I took every brand of pregnancy test I had, to tell my husband. I needed to see a lot of positive tests to really believe it! Especially the digital one.
I kept testing, because it’s just so hard to believe in those super early days. 10 dpo, as you can see loading in the video above. Plus a bunch of days to follow. I was even fortunate enough to eventually get a dye stealer pregnancy test!
I hadn’t yet missed my period at 10 dpo, I believe I was due 2 days after.
My 10 dpo symptoms at that point were the veins that I mentioned previously and on and off nausea. My nausea started literally the day I got that first positive (and for a looong time after that 😭)
And here we are a year later with my almost 4 month old son asleep in bed upstairs as I write this ❤️ Sending you lots of love and baby dust!
